  • As principal author of the Declaration of Independence and third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson was one of the most influential and enigmatic personalities the United States ever conceived. While primarily a lawyer and politician, Jefferson mastered many disciplines. He was a statesman and diplomat, architect, horticulturist, musician, philosopher, and Founding Father. Jefferson was the nation’s first Secretary of State under George Washington, and, as president in 1803, he oversaw the expansion of the United States with the Louisiana Purchase. For over five decades he loved and served his country guiding her through expansion, war, turmoil, and prosperity.

  • Regarded as one of this country's foremost political leaders and diplomats, Thomas Jefferson served his country for nearly five decades. As a member of the House of Burgesses and Continental Congress, governor of Virginia, ambassador to France, and third President of the United States, Jefferson was a powerful advocate of liberty and religious freedom.

AMAZING DETAIL

When in the course of miniature human historic figures, TJ was a must have for my first miniature. Flawless painted details, from hat to boots, I can't imagine how any person could be so steady. Jeffy was pleased to stand in front of his most famous work, and to see it was still around. I thought it appropriate that he has a slightly forward leaning stance, befitting of his progressiveness.

He always was a man of meticulous detail! Thank you, Dan. Love your work!
