  • The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America. The Constitution originally consisted of seven Articles. The first three Articles embody the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislature, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judiciary, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

The original Constitution of the United States is on permanent exhibit in the Rotunda at the National Archives Museum.

Quality is top notch but overpriced as comparable item

Comparing it to other professionally framed products I own and taking into account that the document inside is only $15. It's not a superior document to the other ones they sell outside of a frame and also taking it to consideration. It's a more expensive frame than the things I have it's still not worth $450. If I would compare it to other things I have purchased I would say the most it should cost with plenty of available profit margin should be $300. That's why I'm giving it four stars. Nothing on the back of the product even states that it came from the national archives, which would be nice as if you were gonna pass it down to someone.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate hearing from you and the suggestion about a label on the back is a great idea.

I bought 2 of these - 1 for my son and 1 for my son-in-law. For both it was a birthday present and they were delighted!
