Franklin D. Roosevelt is missing in action. The outline of President Roosevelt has been intricately hand cut from these vintage silver dimes. Strung together, they make a striking silver bracelet of Roosevelt dime links.

The Roosevelt dime was released to the public on January 30, 1946, which would have been President Roosevelt’s birthday. The ten-cent coin was introduced less than a year after the President died, replacing the Mercury dime. Since its introduction, the dime has been minted every year, although not in silver since 1965. Unusual among currently circulating United States coins, the Roosevelt dime’s basic design has not changed.
